Does Con-Way hire student drivers are drivers assigned equipment and can the drivers take the truck home with them also does Conway run 48 and Canada + NYC. Thankz and be safe.

For a Non Union LTL company - they are pretty decent...

I run with several of their drivers out of Cincy - and all seem happy with their jobs.

What is the speed of the con-way truckload trucks and do they treat you well and i also see that you can take the truck home do you have to park it at a secure area or can you just park it at the house. Be safe out there

You can park it at the house if it will fit, the truck do 65, and how they treat you depends on your fleet manager. Some good, some bad.

When I drove for them the first FM I had was a kick ### guy. Always took care of me and he was the 3rd generation to work there (first dispatcher, his dad and grandad were drivers). He resigned due to family problems and my next two FM's were complete jokes.

If I was a student - and I lived close to one of their terminals - and was in pretty good physical shape... I would consider them.

as I said before - they have pretty happy drivers.

I am a recent grad and will be attending orientation with Conway in Joplin, Mo. Looking for advice on what to take, what to be prepared for, any thing what would be helpful for life on the road. Any information about Conway would be help too.
