Bug "Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite"

"Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite"

Could be a nightmare if we are not careful!

Quote:
Bed bugs are increasingly becoming a problem within residences of all kinds, including homes, apartments, hotels, cruise ships, dormitories and shelters. We have drafted this document to provide basic information about the biology and health significance of these pests, and to offer guidance on how to safely and effectively manage an infested residence.

An apartment complex in St. Joseph, MI, has an infestation of bedbugs. Residents have been told to buy plastic covers for their mattresses, and wash sheets and clothes in hot water. This is not the first time the apartments have been treated for bedbugs. If residents do not follow the instructions this time, they will be evicted.

Terminex workers claimed it was the worst bedbug infestation they had ever seen, saying residents must have lived with them for at least eight months. The company has treated about a dozen cases of bedbugs in the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph area during the past three months. Bedbugs were nearly eradicated in the U.S. in the 1950s.

This info was reported by Kevin Allen in Section B, page1, of the 9/12/08 Herald-Palladium. I do not have a direct link.

AND ANOTHER................sigh

Bedbugs Force Family From Apartment

Sept. 2008
Quote:
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Southside family forced out of its bedrooms by bedbugs said their apartment is infested with the creepy critters and they've got the bites to prove it.

When Brandon and Deanna Byrd tuck their daughters in at night the phrase "don't let the bed bugs bite" could not be any more serious.

The family of four is covered in bed bug bites after an infestation took over their apartment.

Bedbug treatment is necessary to remove the bugs from the building. We also did the same thing in our building. We contacted the personals from [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. to help us to eradicate the bugs from our building and for the last two months we havenot seen or had a single bedbug bite!

I have ran into this problem twice in my career while doing part time work for different trucking companies.

I have went out in a company truck, only to have rash and skin problems for several months afterward.

I am now very picky about a truck that I am going to sleep in. I have made dispatchers mad, but I have turned down three trucks in a row they tried to dispatch me in.

The dispatcher got mad, but I told him to come look in the truck, and if he could honestly tell me he would sleep in it, then I would take it. I got a nice clean truck.

Now think about the whelps, hives, and itching. That should make you sleep real good.

Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite.

We seem to be following the same post at the same time. Don't tell me you have nightly insonimia too.

Yes, and isn't insomnia just a joyful thing to have?
