I'm curruently making a laptop stand because I'm 75% sure I'll have to go back over the road if I don't get a job before my unemployment runs out.
After some trial and error I came up with this...Go to Lowe's and purchase

2 union joints for swiveling purposes

2 floor flanges to attach to floor and laptop base

45 degree and or 90 degree elbows

Various threaded pipe of different lengths (however you want it customized)

With different elbows and lengths of pipe you can customize it how you want.All my pipes and joints are 3/8 diameter galvanized (very strong)here's what i did
1.Attach 2 ft long threaded pipe to floor flange
2.Attach union joint (swivel joint) to the top of the pipe
3.Attach 45 or 90 degree elbow (whatever angle you need) to the top of swivel joint
4.Attach another threaded pipe to the elbow (this will be your swiveling arm so add any length you need.
5.Attach another elbow to the end of the arm (45 or 90 degree whatever you used before)
6.Attach the last union joint to the elbow and the last flange to the union
7.I stll haven't made a platform you but whatever I use,I will screw it to the flange and it will also swivel

2 flanges,2 union joints,2 elbows, 2 pipes long and short
It'll cost you about $40 or less to make,much cheaper than the Ram or Jotto mounts

I can actually swing it to use sitting on the bunk too. The air seat adjusts the height.
