Tired of answering requests for status updates? Give your consignees, brokers, and dispatch real-time visibility of your load's location with See It Ship. See It Ship is an app for Android and iPhones that gives small trucking companies and independents a shipment tracking system far superior to the tracking systems used by mega carriers. It takes 30 seconds to set up on your smart phone and it's 100% FREE.
Using the See It Ship app, it takes seconds to set up a shipment tracking page from your smart phone.
- Your tracking page features a map displaying your current location, and the shipment's progress is automatically updated while the See It Ship app is running
- Your tracking page can be updated with pictures of cargo, documents, and proof of delivery
- Your customers access the tracking page using just a 9-digit tracking number that you email them when the shipment is created, they do not need to sign-up for an account or remember usernames/passwords
- See It Ship provides the online hosting for tracking pages, you do not need your own website to use it.
I'm looking for a dozen or more iPhone users to test the app and give me feedback. I'd really appreciate participation from forum members. You can post your feedback on this thread or email sam@seeitship.com.
The See It Ship website is here: http://www.seeitship.com/ You can download the app from itunes here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/see-it-ship/id459257797?ls=1&mt=8
You can find the app in iTunes by searching for "See It Ship" but you may need to scroll down awhile to find the app, as new apps generally don't get top exposure.
We also have a thread for the Android version here.
Tracking page example
One of our forum members created a shipment using the See It Ship app, when he sends the tracking number to his customers this is what they see: http://www.seeitship.com/shipments/137213595
