webcams

    Nobody really talks about them, but what is the best webcam out there?? I have seen webcams on the internet where drivers leave it running and people come in from time to time and watch the road with him/her, and chat with other viewers.

    Now, being a newbie, and not even in a truck yet, I will NOT be getting a webcam within the first month or two. But would think it would be NEAT to somehow be able to show my progress, not to mention to be able to stay "face to face" with family and friends.

    I just bought a cheap simple cam at wal mart I have had it for 3 yrs I use it so my hubby and I can see each other on the road

    We have a basic, cheap $39.99 web cam with built in mic from Best Buy. The Skype software was a free download. My son's laptop apparently has a built-in camera and mic. So, we "visit" the grandkids for free. Our tower has the required powered USB port. Of course, ours is a home base, not a mobile unit.
