| A good scanner to get? I guess a scanner would be good to have to listen to police/emergency freq's. Are the units at the TS's a good value? Should I get a handheld vs a dashtop unit? thanks.. |

| uniden BCT15 is a good one to have. It beeps sometimes when the bears are transmitting in a mile range of you. Also picks up freq being used near you without having to be programmed. |
