Be Warned of Prepaid "Ready Mobile Broadband" at PILOT Gas Stations

    Well I bought it with the intentions of having a good prepaid service. I went to install it, had a issue where it wouldnt detect the USB Stick. Returned it and the same thing. Come to find out that Ready Mobile does not support newer computers! YES I SAID NEWER NOT OLDER! So basically if your computer is about 2 years old or just got it recent your screwed! If you have a 32bit your ok, if you have a 64 bit your done. The way to check is to go to the start menu, go to my computer tab, right click and click properties, then on your general tab it should show you there.

    Anyhow back to trying to return it after paying cash. Pilot has a no return only exchange policy on electronics. I was livid, I wasnt told and notice on my receipt I didnt sign where it says I had read the above. I through a #### fit to corporate and they refunded me.

    I picked up a good alternative but a tad bit more on price but way better coverage, virgin mobile. You can get them at Best Buys.

    Paying $40 a month for a lousy 200 megabytes a month is not an option for me. I go through that in a day, and I'm not a heavy user.

    I use the one from Best Buy Virgin Mobile prepaid. 20 for 250 meg 40 for 600 meg. I'm not a heavy internet user on the road so this one suits me fine. If you don't use it for awhile you have 1 year to renew service again. Usually 20 a month is all I pay for just general browsing email, messenger etc.

    After using Millenicom, I can't understand why anyone would use one of the others. I use Virgin for my cell, and love it, but the net card is a ripoff.

    I have my broadband service through SPRINT.
    It costs about $60 a month for unlimited usage. Real good for downloading O/S permits, etc! 2 year contract, the usb card is usually n/c.

    I have my broadband service thru Verizon, also 60 dollars. They have the best coverage and it's very fast.

    Millenicom runs on Verizon, and yes, they are very fast pretty much everywhere.

    Millenicom, Sprint, Verizon.
    All use the same towers. Millenicom buys from sprint I believe, and the other 2 have a contract to use each others equipment. It got them very good national coverage much faster that way than on there own.
    Verizon did not offer full unlimited last I checked though. They limit at like 5 or 6 gigs a month. Millenicom is 100% full unlimited with no contract.
    Sprint is 2 year contract and they offer real unlimited on and off.
