Have two job offers.Need advice... USX or JTC

I have two firm job offers. I live in Idaho, now most carriers refuse to recruit drivers from Idaho. My options are very limited. The trucking companies that are based here pay dirt for miles and I refuse to even consider them, (Would rather collect aluminum cans on the side of the road first). I have 11 years over the road experience so I know just enough to get myself in trouble. Was off work past six months due to surgery and my past employer Knight Transportation refused to rehire me after I was released by my doctor to go back to work.

So I'm out looking as desperation is starting to set in. So far I've gone through some thirty or so companies. I heard every excuse under the sun why they wouldn't hire me. Mostly they say, can't get you home where you live.

The two companies that do want to hire me, want me to lease a truck.
I've heard all the horror stories and know who the dirt bag companies are to avoid.

I know what I'm in for but my finances are going down hill, so even though I have good credit, simply buying a truck from a dealer is out of the question for now. USX has a one year program with option after a year. JCT will lease me a truck and at the end of lease it's mine free and clear.

Which company should I go with? USX is dry box, orientation in one week, and JCT is reefer, orientation March 29th. My options are very limited and need sage advise. I guess the question is, who would be the best company to work for? Who has the best miles? Can only sign one lease agreement.
