There is so much fail in this video, I don't even know where to begin. It is unfortunate that this is becoming such a common occurrence, and simply slowing down and forming a plan of action would have saved this steering wheel holder a whole bunch of heartache.

    A couple of things:

The person filming did try to help the driver, but the driver did not pay him any mind.

The driver hit the railroad bridge before the video starts.

I can't watch this. I would have to put him to sleep. Worst case of truck abuse I have ever seen. Way to sad for me to know their in the other lane coming at me.

A rule comes to mind from truck driving school - If you find yourself in a bad situation, don't make it worse. Stop, look, think or ask for help.

I feel bad for the guy. His actions are on YouTube. He will have a heck of a time finding even a pedicab job.

blur out the company name and truck/trailer numbers, and submit it to every CDL school as "What Not to Do"

Those company logos must have been edited in ! We ALL know that could never be one of their trucks! Must be some type of smear campaign ! :biggrin_25512:

I couldn't help but cringe as I watched this, especially where he jackknifes the trailer so hard you can hear the sheetmetal popping.

He must have panicked and become desperate just to get out of there.
