Will do...
Not much to post about right now though, I'm just layin around being lazy....watchin the back of my eyelids, LOL.
The weather is cooperating...I have the screens in the windows, the fan hung in the front blowing the cool air into the sleeper...no need for idling except to charge the batteries a little every once in a while.
Life is good
I could post a pic of the load I guess (its a grain cart)...it was a contrary devil to chain down...may do that in a few, if I can talk my arse into gear, LOL.Last edited by Ridgerunner665; 08.20.2011 at 04.11 PM.

LMAO...I never did take that pic.
I woke up at 1000 this morning, ate breakfast, made my rounds on the forums....and was back in bed by 1300...didn't wake up until almost 1700.
How's that for being lazy???

Its been one of those weeks...
Delivered the grain cart yesterday, had another load waiting on me...ran up there to get it (Garden City, KS), then I noticed it didn't load until today
Its another combine, but loaded different...had to take all the wheels off because it has the big wide tires on it all the way around, its sitting on blocks on the trailer...made it kinda hard to chain down but I got'r'done.
Then there is the outstanding driving award I got for doing 43 in a 30...I was slowing down, just didn't do it quick enough I reckon...gotta watch those little towns where the speed limit drops from 65 to 30
...I never saw the cop until he was behind me, he was well hidden wherever he was.
EDIT: I left something out...yesterday I stepped out of my truck to go in the truck stop and get a can of Skoal (one of the few times I left the truck idling, it was HOT yesterday)...just as I stepped out, some sort of bleed valve popped apart on the engine and it blew out 2 gallons of oil in the 3 seconds it took me to get the truck turned off...it was on the drivers side, just in front of the air compressor...a good percentage of that oil went all over me, and it was a bit warm. Oil sprayed EVERYWHERE when it popped...I think these trucks will shut themselves down when the oil level gets too low, but if I had been driving down the road when that little valve popped, it would have locked the engine up tight for sure...because even if it did shut down, the transmission would have kept it turning.Last edited by Ridgerunner665; 08.24.2011 at 10.30 PM.
