This is straight from the Millis website. I wonder if they share/rent/lease/contract a drop lot from someone or something, I just can't find this thing lol

Well after driving around all morning and talking to people I finally found 2 locations Millis has drop lots. The one I am not sure if they will be using anymore according to a driver there that was a Millis driver for 6 years and is now with PTI because of a lost contract or something with SCA. He had a lot of good info for me and had nothing bad to say about Millis, it is where he started and drove for 6 years he said. He would not have left he said if it wasn't for that lost contract for whatever reason. The actual drop lot is a little tiny lot that actually only had 1 trailer there. The other place which was a big paper warehouse had quite a few empty trailers sitting there, I imagine waiting to be picked up. Kind of a bummer they lost that account but I imagine they will find something to replace it with hopefully.
The small drop lot actually is really hard to find if you don't know it's there as the sign is very small that says Millis trailers here with an arrow, its only maybe 9 inches big and not seem by the road. Looks like there is a shared leased building there, not sure if anyone even works out of it, but there is a Millis mailbox lol.
Just thought I'd pass on the info if anyone else was interested.

Yeah the sca yard in appleton isnt ours now. Was told we didnt rebid on contract as they wanted the city trucks to.use natural gas and that is a big investment for one spotting contract. We still pull a ton of paper out of there just live loads.

Ya that's basically what that driver told me as well. About the natural gas etc ... I guess SCA is HUGE on "green" and all, which is cool but they better be willing to pay for companies having to invest in the equipment to do it. I imagine that small drop lot a few miles from there might get more use now than considering the SCA contract is no longer. At least I know where I can drop my trailer when I am on home time now though lol
