Why do you have to do a sleep study? Is this normal for all new CDl applicants or did you respond to a question and they needed further info?

Because he tripped a few red warning flags. There are questions on the physical form that assess the risk factors. Frankly, if you have sleep apnea, getting a CPAP machine will extend your life and increase your quality of life. You need oxygen in each of your cells. If you are not breathing, you aren't getting oxygen to your cells.

Came back negative on sleep study ,and will be heading out on my first run to Idaho early tomorrow morning . Actually the only thing that made me get the sleep study was a bmi of over 39,that's an automatic sleep study and 125$ for a negative result .
