leaving in the morning - Truckers' Trucking Forum | Message Board

i'll be leaving about 2 AM to head for Arkansas State University to begin my CDL training. i will be going to work for P.A.M. Transport out of Arkansas. i have a cell phone with internet access but it is slow so y'all will have to bear with me.
my classes are 7 days a week 6AM to 5PM monday through friday and 6AM to 3PM saturday and sunday.
not sure how much time i will have to get on here and help out so y'all be good LOL.
after my 3 weeks training i will be home for a week or 2 waiting to be picked up by a trainer.
thank you all for being so kind to me on here. i will definately miss being here as often,and will get on as much as time allows. THANKS AGAIN!!! Truckers

Enjoy yourself!

And pay attention. Don't do like some of the knuckleheads in those schools and just hang around. The one time you are not paying attention may be the one time that some valuable information is passed along that could come in handy a year or two down the road.

best of luck to you, and especially the wife as she will be alone for a short time as well. if any of the instructors or trainers try to tell you "tall tales" from the road, tell them pro1driver says they are full of ####..............

if any of the other student drivers try to tell you of thier hardships while they are at that school, tell them pro1driver said to shove it up their ###..............

make the best of your time there, learn as much as you can. do not take NO for an answer, and don't take any prisioners either..........

come here (or at least phone your wife, and she can come here, and tell us) as often as possible to let us know your progress.

and i do know where Arkansas is, so if you screw up, i'll send my "posse" out there to kick yer ### into shape.............

for sure!! i dropped out for stupid reasons like too many rules!! i did at least have enough sense to listen to my Dad and get my GED
