| Reinstatement Fee Wow....that's a pretty steep fine to have to pay for 5 over the limit!!! You will have to pay yet another fee as well...it's a "Reinstatement Fee" to get your lic back. Things have gone up so much I don't know what the current amount is, plus that is a State fee. You'll have to go down to your DMV Dept and get this done. (It's the only place you can do it.) It's tricky, because you are not notified of a suspension, nor that you pay a fee to reinstate it. It seems they think we should naturally know these things. An employer will ask if your lic has ever been suspended on the application. Tell the truth. Most companys will hire you, not a problem, as long as you have paid your dues, and don't have any new points. Good Luck to you! |
