Since Werner and Swift shut me down...

Do local construction companies hire fresh out of school?

I dunno.
I guess it all depends.
Do you really wanna drive a #### truck, or a Big truck?

Just curious though --- why did you get "shut down" by the companies you mentioned?
They're two of the easier companies to get hired by.

Need to read...

AfterShock,

If you have the time you need to read Opi's story.

Seems some big bad policeman "trapped" him into going 23mph over the speed limit.

And then there was that unfair judge who convicted him of a felony.

I'm new to this website but I pretty sure one or both of the above are having something to do with the boy's difficulties???

Now.... I am going to send my own 22 year old son a very nice text message right now about how proud I am of him..............

NOW I remember!
Thanx for the heads-up StoryTeller.
That boy seems to have a flagrant disregard for things lawful.
Ya reckon.

Now his past actions have come back to bite him on the buttox.
Big truck truckin' companies tend to frown on speeding and fraud convictions.
So too, do other potential employers, and the "homeless" probably will also.
Carma?

Where did I say one thing about the judge being wrong in any of these cases?

You're the ones spouting off at the mouth like I was bragging about what I did. It's very irritating. I'll let the mods take care of it, I don't have the brain cells to waste arguing with people who have egos

Ego? Bad thing?

Im on spring vacation - have brain cells to use at the moment...........

Ego:
the “I” or self of any person; a person as thinking, feeling, and willing, and distinguishing itself from the selves of others and from objects of its thought.

Psychoanalysis. the part of the psychic apparatus that experiences and reacts to the outside world and thus mediates between the primitive drives of the id and the demands of the social and physical environment.

self-esteem or self-image; feelings: Your criticism wounded his ego.

(often initial capital letterTruckers) Philosophy. the enduring and conscious element that knows experience. Scholasticism. the complete person comprising both body and soul.
Ethnology. a person who serves as the central reference point in the study of organizational and kinship relationships.

All human beings have ego's.....................

With a 23 over ticket, even the guys that I run for wouldn't hire... and its bad fly by night around here. Domino's may be the closest thing for a few years.
