Yes, I did, and the response was "I will talk to the owner." The point being, is that an employee should'nt have to beg for whats been promised to them. A good company will make sure their employees are being taken care of.

Breakdown 420 do you drive or are you leased to PI&I ? This is a blog and you cant depend on everybodies experiences some guys just dont take care of business and do have problems, so I'm just trying to make my mind up. I'm one of the lucky ones who can go work (DRIVE) for any company.

If you drive for a union company and you have a problem with pay/management can't you go to your shop steward to get it resolved?

I dont know the whole deal at PI&I yet, but I dont think the teamsters really has to much influence on the daily operation. I think its more as a boys club giving thier allowance to the guy in the big office 4 states over. I believe the union is there only so company can p/d to union steal mills, and auto plants a big game. The teamsters dont offer any benefits, full retirements are almost null and void. Dont get me wrong my faimly mom and dads are retired teamsters but thats long b4 today way of doing business. I know more teamster drivers right now who are really just as neavous as any non-union driver, if not more because they have been giving to the boys club. Just my born in the USA American thought.
