same thing up here where I live, in New England.
But tell you what, you had better be in the yard when the gates open up, or you're late, and they want you to re-schedule!!
I personally witnessed that many years ago.
A driver was parked at the gate. It opened up at 7:30, we all went in and parked, and went into the office.
The poor sap sleeping at the gate, had an 8 AM appointment.
He wakes up and drives in at 7:45.
The gal at the office said, "you're late, make another appointment".
He said, "but my appointment is for 8, and I am here 15 minutes early"!!
she said, "you're late, make another appointment".
He called his dispatcher.
Dispatcher yelled at him so loudly, all of us heard him.
Back then, it was a JB Hunt driver.
We all felt bad for him, but he chose to snooze, so he lost.
CVS are aceholes to deal with, glad all I ever had to pick up was thier own stuff going back down to Fredricksburg, VA., and I always had an "open pick up time".
