Good stories though. Good thing isbit doesn't seam like they do that too much anymore. Now they just never send the pp and act like there are no loads in your area. BS im in Chicago

I've only been with swift 5 months. I Tried staying out long periods to get more miles but I tend to get sucked into little southern runs around hellacious Atlanta. Since I have no real home base, I've been taking home time every couple weeks all over the country just to get long runs. It seems to work well so far.

Some crack smoking planner just sent me a preplan that picks up on 08/28 and delivers 400 miles away on 09/07!

I often wonder if planners are subjected to random drug tests.
It seems not, considering some of the loads they send us.

Today I'm north bound on I-15 in CA headed for Loveland, CO for a Sunday drop.
I get a preplan from North Las Vegas to Mexico along with a message asking if I'd like to t-call my load in Vegas and take this to Laredo. Since it was a live load, no weight, and t-called at a broker I said no. Last time I needed an MT in Vegas the drop yard refused to give me one and forced me to drive almost to Henderson to get one.

So much nicer to them then me. After the 3rd pp heading the wrong way I say stop sending me pp that don't get me home. They will test you to see if you will fold and stay out or buck up and say no I want my home time. They tried to get me to take a load from Florida to Oregon and when I said no I am heading home like I was told by the planner they sent me a message that said "I guess you don't want to run" I reply "I am running to my home as fast as 63 mph will get me their"
