I have spent almost 30 minutes trying to locate proper forum room to post in. Because I am requesting information on specifically swift driver experiences. I chose this forum. If incorrect room. I appreciate the correction / move and your understanding.

I am am putting together a significant article regarding Swift Transportation. The story potentially will be picked up on a handful of news outlets. With that being said. I am asking for input specifically on the topics listed below. If you are currently a driver or are a recently removed driver from swift. I would be interested in understanding your personal experiences on the following topics only.

Both positive and negative input regarding Swift. I am not on a head hunting mission. Only truth from your experiences. Many of you have spoken with me in person. I have not forgotten the stories already shared with me. Please do NOT post any personal information about yourself or your terminal in your reply. That is for your security. Understand such articles are monitored.

Please turn on your communication preferences to allow both of us to communicate through these forums privately. However a brief explanation posted here is appreciated. This request has been post elsewhere and I must sort through the best documented experiences. Sometimes these such requests are deleted by the forum administrator. No hard feelings. I understand the power of trucking companies to protect. Their image. However, I feel truth is important. And my and your experiences do deserve a fair option in a well documented article. That has spanned more than six months. Please offer good and / or poor experiences. I am looking at fair here. If your experience captures my attention. I will contact you through this website as a private message. Be certain you can accept such communication so that your privacy is assured. Also please be patient.

Reminder that I am looking for the good and bad specifically regarding Swift Transportation. I like to approach in fairness on any article.

Looking for for experiences relative to :

1. Safety Issues Resolved or Ignored.
2. Personal Privacy Issues Resolved or Ignored.
3. Dispatching / Scheduling Successes or Failures.
4. Academy Enjoyable or Disappointing Experiences.
5. Financial Success or Ruin on Assignments.

Thank you for your assistance. I did send an email to admin on this a few weeks ago. I never got a response. Just so that admin knows this has been months in the making and continues. The article will be 'fair and balanced'. That is my approach.

Respectfully,
I.T.

Swift drivers please think long and hard before responding to this. Remember that you have revealed much about yourself regarding where you are from, where you are, and where you might be going. This information would make it easy for Swift to determine who you are if you post negatively about your employer. Many also post information about the truck they are in making it easier to track you down.

I have been driving for Swift many years, and am happy with my situation. I am not going to chance drawing more attention to myself by participating any further in this discussion.

Greetings again. A lawyer pic was posted to your previous post. Perhaps to heighten the fear of your suggestion. But was removed curiously. Within minutes of your post. Swift is aware of who I am. And what I have been putting together.

This has been the third such 'long and hard' suggestion that someone posted to my honest input requests on websites.

I am am not quite understanding why a company fears honest feedback from its own employees. If swift would like to further discuss this. By all means contact me. I'm well identified for months. Please allow these employees an honest voice. They work hard and deserve that. Please. For their sake I'd like them to further understand for months these type threats must mean something. Still confused and want to gather further fact from OTHERS experiences. Because the constant reminders as Swift put it in the last class I took with them. Reminded each student that "swift sees and hears all". I think your post was another such reminder is all.

Further it is encourage any company to listen to their employees. not cause undue stress or threat or other against them. Many fine drivers for swift. I think I've approached this as kind and honest as possible. Please allow your company drivers a voice. I am merely trying to do that.

I find it further curious that my post wasn't even written yet and had three people viewing my profile I was still building. I ask what you are so fearful of? Please tell me your good experiences with Swift. You state that you enjoy them and took your liberty of posting your opinion. So why not allow others that same option without continued fear unto them?

I appreciate your post. I do. This is an unbiased article. But Because it's the third I've documented of installing fear into drivers. It just confuses me. You took your right to post your fondness of Swift. Yet managed to instill fear into anyone else wanting to give their reviews.

Not exactly certain to be any more fair about my approach.

But but thank you for allowing me a third reminder to my documentation of risk of employee input.

If you'd prefer to speak with me. Please see me in person. Let's make it an official statement. Wouldn't that be easier and more professional than stalking out any website I request honest input on?

Best wishes. I don't take offense to such posts. I am merely trying to represent an honest publication is all.

Respectfully,
I.T.

Who do you work for, IT? Who do you write for? You make it sound like you are a reporter of some kind, maybe an advocate? Wouldn't it be better if you didn't sound like a guy saying "pssssst, buddy, come here, I'm a friend" from down the alley? Your approach is .....strange.

Lol, one thing is certain, you are no salesman.

Are you seriously suggesting staff would delete your thread because it might offend Swift? If you've spent any amount of time on here or searched for 'Swift' you'd realize how ridiculous that is.

I don't know if you actually sent an email, but I certainly didn't receive it.

If you want people to take you seriously and trust you with their private information, you should post your name and the publication you are writing for.

i will say this...as with all large companies you have good and bad. its the nature of business. As long as you do your job they leave you alone. as with all trucking compines its hard to get your hometime but that is average in this world. basically i enjoy what i do. its an average place no frills. I wish they had more comfort such as APUs and inverters but they dont so we deal.

Not so much entrapment as just plain dishonesty ... his name sez it all. There is no such thing as an unbiased journalist ... I've been in several news situations and invariably they get sensationalized or in one case down right manufactured. He has his vision of the truth he wants to write.

As a freelance journalist he will make no money in a kumbaya article on Swift. To sell it he has to focus on Swift the terror of the highways, forcing undertrained and indentured drivers on the American motoring public ... there really is no other story he can write on Swift that will of be of any interest, so that's the way he has to slant it.

Basically he's here looking for his "deep throat".

I find it curious after you posted this, when I viewed your profile, that I was the only one that registered that had viewed it.

Your "slant" is already showing.

Let's make this simple and short: If you want to live like an animal and also to be treated like one then, by all means, go drive for Swift. Combine an average salary of $600.00 bucks a week to work up to 100 hours a week and dispatchers that know (in their paradigm) that you are a piece dirt, and you've got yourself a dispatch to hell.

Protect yourself; drive for someone else.
