Prime example of why Swift Drivers have the reputation they do! I was lucky enough to see why Swift drivers end up they way they do...
I came into the the Sapp Brothers in Lincoln Nebraska today and I now understand why Swift drivers have gotten the name they have....
The way the parking lot should look...
The way it looked when I got to the truck stop....
I realize the lines on the pavement can be hard to figure out, but I really had to laugh at the quote on the rear door "Award Winning Drivers ARE Safe and Courteous", And here I thought the "Courteous" Driver would not BLOCK 8 Spots in a 15 spot truck stop!!!
Now after 15 minutes doing a few things in my truck I decided to walk inside to grab a sub...
I saw two guys walking to the truck, so I walked over and asked the guy who was getting to the drivers door if he was the trainer, he responded that he was not, but the other fellow was...
I walked around to the other and the "Trainer" (I am using this word loosely)he rolled down the window to talk to me.
I asked him if this was how he was teaching his student how to park? and pointed to the row of blocked spaces, and he had nothing but a blank look on his face.
I told him it was Pathetic, and walked away shaking my head.
I feel sorry for this student because he will finish his time with a "Trainer" like that and think crap like that is acceptable...
Its no wonder why Swift drivers have the reputation they do if this is the kind of training they get!!!

for some reason the pics dissapeared and in the "Edit" was just the word Truckers

Well the long and the short of the pictures is the Swift driver, and Trainer parked just in front of a bunch of empty spots so none of them could be used while they went in side for a minimum of 15 minutes, now in that time a couple of trucks came in and just left because there were no reasonably accessible spots to park in.
You should be able to copy and paste the link into a new browser to see the pics...

You can, if the server that host the picture allows it. Just click the insert image icon above...delete the http in the box, paste the URL, and it will display.
But many servers restrict that type of usage. As they get charged for the bandwidth.

Apparently the album thing did not work ....
