I'm still doing it, same company, same thread. With equity out of walker, Michigan.
I just came off a 10 day vacation. I went into the hole $410, I'll be out on Friday with about $5-600 in the positive.

This is a rant. Pay no attention, I just need a place to vent.
What happened to family being family and just enjoying another's company. Why has it turned into a multipurpose visit with the baggage of drama, either real or imagined? "He only calls when he needs something , either money or to borrow something."
Holding babies over someone's head as a means to make them succumb to your will is just plain selfish and a great way to burn every bridge you may have to take in the future .
The world is a neutral place. It's actions like that and people who do them that create the evil of the world .RERM Thanks this. -

ME : do I need a pickup number?
Broker : no. Just say it's for (insert obscure broker name here) and they will know what you're talking about.
ME: ok. Are you sure there isn't even a PO or anything?
Broker : nope you should be all set.
-hours later-
ME: hi! I'm here to pick up a 2 stop load to Michigan for (random broker)
Shipper: I'll need both of your pickup numbers.
So here I sit at a quarry waiting on a call back with my pickup numbers that were previously deemed pointless.

Looking at a 1/4 tank of fuel when you embark to the middle of nowhere for your load, one may want to consider pushing it to 1/2 tank at least . Saves from the constant stress of staring at the needle while you go over hills and bumps for ANY kind of needle movement from resting on E.

Looks like a favorite stop of mine that was just a gas station and restaurant with truck parking, is converting to truck stop, as they have installed 4 diesel pumps.
