TMC doesn't care how tightly (or not) you wind your straps, but they don't want them left on the winches. The winder will be very much appreciated as opposed to handrolling 12-14 straps, though. Definitely worth the $25, and if you can score one for less you're golden.

Saturday,
It was all hands on load securement. They broke us into groups of 4 and we went from station to station deciding on how best to secure the loads they had in the training area. (coils, grease bars, sheet metal, roll roofing, shingles.) Hone at 2pm
Today ,
we will be taking our test over all that crap. which should be fairly easy because they gave the test two days ago to study. Then we will be tarping all the loads.

Hey Rebel,

....so it looks like its a pretty fast paced environment. Exercise some common sence, stay on top of things, and pay attention a person should do well.

Best of luck on your test today.

R/

Frat

well rebel it looks like TMC is the same way I left it 10 years ago, that what I guess you call being consistent, at this phase every who is still in your group has a garanteed job with TMC, they might still make everyone who just came out of a trucking school or has less than 6 months experience do 1 week of driver training, all you mostly will be doing is more backing and getting use to driving with a loaded trailer, good luck
