So glad he was alive to tell his story.

 

Glad he's okay. What can we learn from this?

 

Im paranoid about that after my brother almost got crushed. I never position myself under anything low enough to potentially crush me. If it wouldnt free, I would have ran brake de icer (alcahol) thru the lines. I find awitching the lines red to blue helps on/off a few times.

Grateful he lived to see his wife again.

 

This guy has balls to go under the truck in -40 wind chills to try and fix his brakes. I would say, if the brakes can freeze while driving, give it up, park it and be safe. This guy seemed determined. In the future, it may be wise to notify someone that you're going under the truck. This seems like something that was un-forseeable.

 

He might not of seen the rolling and was just parked on top of someone else's old rut. I was thinking more of leaving the trailer brakes open like many do and don't lay in the path of the tires.

You know the whole lot was idling. No one could hear you and very few would be outside. It was by the grace of god his phone vibrated out of his pocket where he could dial.
