    This is no surprise to me. Most companies, not just trucking companies, will do anything to avoid having workmen's compensation claims. Now for this company to try and say he wasn't working because he had been to dinner and was returning to the truck is just amazing. I guess if he had been in the sleeper and got up to go to the restroom, that wouldn' t be working either. Truck drivers better keep a watch on the companies and consider legal advice if injured.
