    Just sitting here looking for freight & one of the oldest Chevrolet's that I've ever seen decides to park next to me. I had to take the picture. You can tell that at one time it was a freight hauler itself....

    Yes. I was at the flying J on 35 north of Des Moines... Can't remember the name of the town.

    Here is a couple pics I took Sunday at Bosselman's in Altoona, IA. I wonder if those are orbs seeking shelter? It wasn't raining at the time I took the picture...

    Those are strange in the pictures from Altoona, the J is across the interstate from the old Boondocks truck stop north west of Williams IA, the first exit north of where US 20 crosses I-35. I don't get there often anymore, but that J was privately owned, not a company store.

    My sister lives in Ames, IA. I've gone past that truck stop when I visited her a few weeks ago. The sky in the midwest is incredible.

    It still is. I think it is a Broadway J... And they accept comdata. Looks like I'll be back in that area again this weekend. My load going to Florida didn't pan out, so I took a better paying load going to belmond, IA.

    Neat old Chevy truck,, frame has been stretched quite a bit tho, they only came with 14 foot frames origionaly, i had an old 47 international kb7 that had an extra 2 feet added on for a 16 foot bed.
