Northbound I-5 reopens following glass spill

CALIFORNIA

LAKEHEAD Northbound Interstate 5 south of here reopened about 10:20 p.m. tonight after road crews cleaned up sheets of broken glass.
A big rig that lost its load of glass caused the temporary closure of both lanes of northbound I-5 beginning about 7:40 p.m.
Northbound motorists had to take a detour from Gilman to Statton roads, a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said.
