A husband and wife from Neillsville, Wis., were killed Wednesday when the semitrailer they were in went through a guardrail and rolled in a ditch on Interstate 90, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

The names of the 53-year-old man and his 32-year-old wife were still not released by the state patrol, pending notification of family members.
The couple died Wednesday at about 7:30 a.m. According to the police report, the 2007 Freightliner was eastbound on I-90 near Nodine, Minn., when it "ran off" the road through a guardrail. The truck slid down an embankment and rolled over at the bottom.

Neither was taken to a hospital. The man was driving and wearing a seatbelt, the state patrol said. His wife was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the patrol.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
