    Help 2 penalty for false log and driving while out of service in Tx

    Was stopped in childress tx the other day and dot officer gave me a ticket for false log cause I started out the day an hour earlier than what was logged and also said couldn't log 340 miles in 5.25 hours so I was put out of service for 8hrs got impatient and left after 3 hrs he busted me trying to make a run for it anyone know if I could lose my license for this or just pay fines.

    Seems to me that if you are running 65mph, 340 miles would take exactly 5.25 hrs!!!!

    He was just knit picking cause he couldn't find nothing wrong with the truck first time in 11yrs this happens

    Just on the off chance your not trying to be funny if you did try and" make a run for it"



    Category 2: The first violation results in a disqualification of no less than 180 days or more than 1 year. The second violation within 10 years results in a disqualification of no less than 2 years or more than 5 years results in a disqualification of no less than 2 years or more than 5 years The third and subsequent violations result in disqualifications of no less than 3 years or more than 5 years a CDL holder is disqualified from operating a CMV, the State may issue m/her a license to operate a non-CMV. Drivers who are disqualified from erating a CMV can not be issued a "conditional" or "hardship" CDL or y other type of limited driving privileges to continue driving a CMV.



    So if your not a troll practice the phrase "Shined to a mirror finish". That will be the only way to get close to a truck for at least the next 6 months to a year.

    yes,jackrabbiting as it's called is a major violation with a major suspension.better get a lawyer and try to plea bargain out of it.
