my rebuilt lasted a whole 2 weeks. and it was completely rebuilt. everything new cept the housing. minus the actuatuator cuz every tech said no reason to replace.

i hear yall talking about a nonwasted tubro. so how about telling me what i need. is it just the turbo assembly or does it come with the exhaust portion also?
    and what about the ecm.

    specifics please.

Pittsburgh Power has an ISX replacement turbo that is a non-variable style, but you have to replace the manifold, and do some engine reprogramming for it. No idea on cost.

You have to replace the stock turbo with the stock turbo, unless you reprogram the ECM to get rid of the stock turbo. To do this is expensive, because you also have to change the exhaust manifold and remove the EGR cooler.

Your stock turbo should have a warranty on it if its only a few weeks old.

    interesting observation.

I could address the reason for this, but than some would consider me being an #######. So I'll leave it alone

I will take the liberty to repost something from another thread with out Kurts or NJPITBULL permision.

My post: NJPITBULL: Mr haney get his comission from PDI only if you go thu him, I kind of think you,ve got it, but we have seen many people coming here asking for his expertise, only to turn around and go straight to PDI and getting the tunes and wasted Mr Haneys time for nothing, then to come back and ask again because what they got from PDI wasn't exactly what they needed, whyle it cost the same I rather Have Mr Haney get his comision, otherwise we will lose him if we keep this going and he has been a life saver for many of us owner operatos. nobody here is trying to offend you or being a smart ###, we just wanted to save what we have by keeping Kurt around, but only if he gets our support, we will keep his.

I hope you'll understand why some had commented on your request.

His answer: I completely do,and was filled in on how he doesn't get the credit he deserves. After seeing my boy's truck, I wanted him to tweek mine but I had a ISX and was told he only felt with single Turbo type CATS. But I was able to put 2&2 together and my boy is going to reach out to him and maybe he will help me get this Kitty right. So thanks t800h for being a gentleman and explaining the situation unlike some of the others who saw as a chance to jump on the board and sling mud to someone who knew nothing about Mr.Haney getting the short end of the stick. But its okay because mist are just internet thugs. Knowing they wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight... @ Deagon Kennels hope your keeping it BULLY!!!! I will pm you num# so we can kick it. My boy needs a qualified female to tie up with.

Kurt or NJPITBULL if I'm sticking my nose where it don't belong, let me know and I will delete it, but many of us here apreciate what you do and we want to keep you around.

Yep, it is not the easy deal to switch to pre egr isx turbo. but on pre egr isx schwizer and garret can be used with some mods.
