low pressure switch

    Hope someone can help,got poped at the weight station for my low pressure buzzer not coming on when air pressure got below 60psi,changed the switch but did not fix it,i have a 1989 international 8300 day cab any advice would be most appreciated,Thanks

    the wires dont even go to a buzzer, they go to a wire junction behind the driver side seat,i just dont want to pay a mechanic 5 hours labor to chase down the problem,but i guess its either that or get popped again.what tells the sensor that the air pressure is to low,maybe the problem isn't the switch.

    As long as the warning light still comes on you should be ok. International doesn't list anything older than 98 on our tech website. I would have to get old book out to find out the wiring.

    Uh - the OP stated he DID get popped for not having the buzzer. And no, the visual warning alone is NOT enough. An audible warning is also required.

    What if you are hearing impaired? That is why I thought you always had to have at least the light. But I guess, if it does have a buzzer it does have to work.
