What rpm at 65mph ???

I have a manual Eaton 18.
Just for you.. I will see exactly what rpms I’m at when going 65mph tonight. I will post back tomorrow morning with the results.

 

My 13-speed Auto is like that it won't go into 13 unless I'm doing 62 63 miles per hour. So that 1400 RPM is that in here 16 or 17 for you?

 

11r22.5 tires , 3.70 rears, .86 gear is55.6 mph at 1450rpm

.73 gear is 65.5 at 1450 rpm

 

Concorde must have low pro rubber

 

Thank you Swone Hauler. Yeah that RPM starting to get up there I like to drive right around 65 66. I wonder if that's too much RPM ?

 

I don't have an experience with the mx motors or their power curves.

I'm a Detroit man......so listen to @Long FLD , he always has good solid advise.

 

You could put 11r 24.5 rubber on it and be at 66 mph at 1400 rpm.

 

Just for reference, you can see the torque fall off at around 1400rpm.
