    Sounds like the place I was at just outside of Lebanon TN that couldn't load 6 rolls of paper because they were on inventory.

    I asked to be taken off this. Denied.

    At least I'm at a door 100 minutes past my appointment.

    It's cross docking a container. This happened the other day.

    Now I need to start asking does this "live load" involve cross docking a container?

    And why it should take more than 15 minutes to do it is what we're all asking

    I can remember my dad and grandpa digging ditches that way when i was a kid. A mile of ditch could be done in a day or less instead of a week.

    25 cents... When I was in college I worked as a cashier at a gas station in a small town for a little while. I would always get funny looks when I counted thier change back in "bits"... "Six bits and a nickle is your change."

    Ok.

    Bribery may be illegal in some places.
    I offered the guy and two others something to drink cause it’s fricken hot out here.
    My fridge gets sodas super cold, the 3 accepted, (I keep 6 drinks plus crangrape and orange juice, sometimes milk for my Frosted Flakes, don’t ask how I forgot the milk..)
    But one of the guys ended up being a supervisor.
    I’m getting loaded now.:eek::occasion5:

    Well you see the container needs to be here.

    It also answers the question of why did this guy make this appointment so late.

    I can't tell you guys how much I miss the experience of being at someone else's whim as to when I get loaded.

    Years ago, a place in Tennessee insinuated I could get loaded today (my appointment time was the next morning) if I could find a way to "motivate" them. I declined and said I would find a parking spot for the night.

    "Man, you truck drivers don't make money like you used to. Whatever, I will load you now just to get this crap off my dock."

    I accepted the offer at 25 years old, but I would definitely sit there until the morning appointment time now. Try and shake me down. Pffft.
