Still room for improvement in my opinion, but much better than it was 15 years ago. I'm assuming you are at the top of the pay scale?

    drh72 Thanks this.

I am at the top of the scale and I agree there is room for improvement still.

Snowmantrucking101 I read your post on the Roehl thread and saw where Halvor wants $5000 for a 2 week refresher along with a 1 year contract from you. Do you know what they want to go through their 5 week school? If it's that much for a refresher it must be around 10 to 12 grand for the full school.

There was a post here in the good companies section from a Kenda a couple weeks ago and I asked this question but she didn't post again. In looking at their facebook page I think she's a frequent poster on their page.

Sounds right for a new driver with less than 1 year experience as a base.

I am not up to speed on our school since it is relatively new, but my understanding is that you are a paid employee starting on your first day of school. You only have to pay if you do not make it one year after your training is complete (how much I don't know). I saw your other post about trainee to trainer program...Yeah, it's longer than the regular program and I am very skeptical on how long that will last.

$5,000 1 year contract for a 2 week refresher is beyond extreme by any standards. Yeah, she said $1,000 per week while in it & with trainer, but still...
