When I first started at Crete we got no extra money for hazmat troubles. Then I let it drop and they sent a msg saying hazmat loads pay $25 more

I'm surrounded...I parked here with no other trucks around, and all these flatbeders landed beside me...kinda like feeding the one seagull you see, then a minute later it's a scene out of a Hitchcock movie (There was one more to my right, but he left before I got the picture taken)

I wonder if they'll scatter if I fire the reefer up on high cool.

If it’s the drop and hook facility with the bull pen, they don’t check. Just wait in the bull pen until they tell you to drop the trailer in the yard and hook up to loaded.. unless it’s actually dirty inside

Yea, I've picked up there a fair number of times, never had them check. But I figured the one time I don't do like they want, they'll check.

Had snow last night, flakes as big as nickles, but it didn't stick.

Well, had to postpone my pickup until morning. The ONLY place that has any type of weekend washout anywhere close to the shipper was a washout where you can do it yourself. Got there, and they have either removed the hose for winter or did away with it entirely. And #### if I am running 100+ miles round trip to Benton Harbor just to wash out a dirty trailer. So, I am sitting in the 76th street truckstop across the street from a washout that I have used many times and the shipper will just have to do without my empty until morning. Can't wait to get home and get going on something else. Whether it's something the company does, or something a shipper does, or just dumb luck, it is always something here. This company is a bad luck magnet...

SSB, have you ever tried looking into Walmart? I've seen what some have posted about them on YouTube and they seem to be a pretty good company.

Do they pay you for that extra 100+ miles?

Edit I see you’re not running the 100, but would they pay if you did?
