Well, apparently it was a pig roast, but with the staff in Hawaiian shirts, and the store decorated in a tiki motif.

It started at noon, I got there at 3, completely missed the food.

Apparently, the Chili Cook-off is two weeks from today.

So of course, I get to kicking some tires, chatting with the salesmen, and next thing I know I'm sitting at the table with the finance manager.

I didn't buy one YET.....Missus Skillet's last words to me before she left town were "don't sign anything".

But I might be close enough to getting one to get some insurance quotes......

I read this book several years ago. Highly interesting. Thats exactly what they said in the book. When they would kidnap kids, Indian or white, if the kid wouldnt keep quiet while they made their escape, they just off em. Head smashing was mentioned as the favorite method. Nice and quiet I guess.

In other news, got a battery put in cousins car. She had a choice of 3. Orchelins One Year warranty for 150. Die Hard Gold for 170. Or a Interstate for 185. She went cheap so interested to see how it holds up.
