On the news today, another drug, not Ozempic, use is being encouraged for weigh loss. Mounjaro, helped people with the disease who were overweight or had obesity lose up to 16% of their body weight, or more than 34 pounds, over nearly 17 months, the company said on Thursday.
Another one of those "Here take this", then a little later, "NO, STOP, don't take that anymore, take this new improved beast", ad infinitum.
I'll bet most of the "SIDE EFFECTS" are similar!! All the weight loss stuff harbors in-n-out special effects.
My doctor put me on Jardiance, in addition to what I was already taking, Metformin. Now I have zero body fat. I guess we're all different.

I have made comments in TTR and other places about how dangerous it is to carry a lot of weight into your middle age years. I'm not going to repeat them here. Not all that long ago I attended the funeral services of a man I have known for over 40 years. It is particularly dangerous for OTR truckers to do this. I was speaking to my Son In Law the other day about how unhealthy the troops at FT Campbell are eating now. Losing weight is about lifestyle changes. Using medications like Ozempic etc is not making these changes. Also, Ozempic is VERY expensive! Seems to me like it would be cheaper to just make these lifestyle changes. I had a doctor to tell me close to 30 years ago there is not a magic pill that will ever be a good substitute for eating right and getting plenty of exercise! Away I got my flame-proof underwear on!
