FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Hopefully they find me a load first thing in the morning after dropping this load off now that I got me a full set of hours need to get some miles in.

 

Had a hell of a time finding the Tulsa yard for some reason...but now I know where it is so I don't turn in to the wrong place and then have to back out onto the street again. Thankfully it's after midnight and traffic is nonexistent

 

We have a Tulsa yard? Where all do we have yards?

The two new SC Shippers that I’ve recently been to are Manning (on I95 N of I26) and Wellford (on I85 S of I26) both running to Topeka, KS

Only issues so far were:

Manning took 4 hours to get loaded but easy other than that, and nice folks to work with, and I’m sure it will smooth out. Probably just an off day.

Wellford is brand new Construction on a brand new Road so the address wasn’t on my RM or my Backup Map App yet (Google had it) … I submitted Directions and Details to get it updated in the Directions Macro.

Looks like the Columbia Route is being beefed up a bit… which is good for me.

Now if they can just hurry up and finish construction of I26 from Asheville NC to Charleston SC, that section of road will be smooth running.

I’ll ask where the third one is when I talk to my DM today.

 

Waxahachie, TX, Northern Ga. (Haven’t been there since I’ve been back), KCMO, and Lincoln x2 might be more. These are basically secured drop lots we share with other carriers.

 

It does seem like weekends are kinda rough for freight. I’m under a load with a 10 am appointment, the customer opens at 7:30 and is down in the directions as FCFS, so I’m planning on sneaking in when they open and playing dumb.

 

Empty now down here going to get breakfast at the love's and coffee got a new load have to deadhead to sc I think it's that new account we got for the home Depot.

 

Where you heading to? Is it going to HD Topeka? Curious to find out where the third shipper is out of.
