I certainly see nothing wrong with the ones in your avatar, especially if those still run regularly.

Considering that the Interstate Commerce Clause is one of the most abused clauses in the Constitution I would absolutely love to see something happen that limits the power of the federal government to continue abusing it. After all, that principle is the basis for pretty much all of the regulations that we have to endure.

It’s even more fun to run that old stuff when you can spank a large portion of the new shiny trucks

I personally hate that particular part of running old equipment. It just doesn’t seem fair or right.

I can’t do it, that’s too much. You fine sir understand exactly how my very childish mind works.

Have a 2023 truck with only 56,000mi & they haven't backed off on anything for me.

Last year, was 2wk ordeal just to get registered paying $30fee. Never sent notification for this year, but caught it on my own.

In addition, truck has to be OBD tested 2x year, which will soon be 4x year upon full implementation. Just finally had first OBD done today by a retired CHP trooper whom became a certified tester.

Last year, wait times for calling in for help/questions was anywhere from 4-6hrs.

Today, I recording told me I had 322 callers ahead of me & 5029min estimated wait. Do the math..... that's over 80hr wait! LOL

Got lucky & found this guy on my own.

This is the most unorganized, piss poorly implimented scam they have ever pulled out yet.

I only stick in there because I believe they are going to drive out enough folks whom just give up out of pure frustration, that it just might affect capacity enough now.

    D.Tibbitt and ElmerFudpucker Thank this.

I don't think CARB is going away. They had another checkpoint on SR99 again at the Tulare rest area.

    Oxbow and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

CARB isn’t going anywhere in CALI. There here to stay and enforce compliance……
