So, after doing a 34 on the way back from IN I delivered a paper load to Omaha. Then got to sit for 4 hours or so in Fremont yard. Waited to leave to make an 8pm appointment for a paper load that was dropped in Fremont. Just as I'm about to leave, I get my next load. Pickup in Columbus, NE and deliver Monday in Plainfield, IN. I called dispatch and complained. I'll end up sitting another 30 hours or so waiting to deliver Monday. There's no way I'm going to hit 3,000 miles this week with all the sitting. Dispatch said it's a little slow. Not real thrilled right now.

Back into the gate on the South side of the building. It's easy enough. The hard part is finding or creating a break in traffic long enough to do it.

Flatbed, days behind update. Delivered my fence in Riverside. Reloaded in Costa Mesa for deshler.

    hours left on 70: 15h58
    Time to destination: 16h18

I have my gps set at 55 so I’ll gain time, but it’s still going to be close. I had to shut down sooner than I would’ve liked yesterday coming out of Cali as the construction over the Colorado had the garmin and the copilot both losing their minds over a 39min delay. So i stopped in needles.

And the same today.. traffic is backed up coming east out of ABQ, so I guess I’ll wait it out until tonight

Picked up a load in Lebanon, Tennessee going to Wayne, Nebraska. Will be dropping that tomorrow morning. After that the good news is my West Coast drought is hopefully over. I’m supposed to do the Aurora to Victorville shuffle. The bad news is it isn’t ready until at least 14:00 tomorrow and my DM didn’t sound super confident in that. So I’m not planning on being in too much of a hurry to get going in the morning.
I’m hoping to get it delivered Tuesday to make this an okay check.
Usually I run 80 to 15 to get out there, weather permitting. It looks like Wyoming is just going to be windy but the tunnel trouble will add another wrinkle.

Went across Wyoming today..no issues just restricted for light high profile loads under 40k loads…winds are expected to subside tonight though..no snow at all whatsoever

I completely agree. We have lost parking privileges all over this great country because of these type of shenanigans.

Wednesday in Lexington, Nebraska. I am on the north side of the walmart looking towards the 80. I got caught up in the weather but parked safely. Practically had the store all to myself. The parking lot looked like a truck stop after a few hours. I included one from the east side of Vail pass. I made it through Tuesday just before the weather, just to get shut down in Lexington. It turns out the consignee was closed Wednesday anyways.

From what the city of Fremont is posting on Facebook it sounds like FCC might be without power for a good while yet.
