I am in Low-ray-doe. Bobtail so of course I have a great parking spot! :)
I have to get a PM done. Just waiting on the shop to call me when it's my turn.

Got to the terminal. Took about 3 hours to get through the inspection lane. Went in to dispatch to hand them my paperwork and they said "you need directions to the forwarder?"

    ..I'm sorry? I didn't know I was taking this to a forwarder.

So of course they fill out some forms, highlight directions and hand everything back to me. I guess I'm going to the forwarder. Get connected to my trailer and I shoot dispatch a message saying they want me to take this to the forwarder and I already sent my empty macro. They said to send a stop macro and your empty once you get down there.

Hey, for what it's worth I don't care about having to take it to the forwarder..I just want to get paid for that extra stop.

Marion, IL after fighting thunderstorms most of the day. That last one over Paducah scared the crap outta me....lovely wall cloud that was, and angrily boiling behind it...kind of a funny yellowish color. Time to step to it and skedaddle. Looking forward to a (hopfully) peaceful night with none of the rockin and rollin.

Ms. E-Logs griping at you the whole time, too, I would imagine. She's such a nag!

Mt. Vernon, IL. Just filled up on fuel. 1,540 miles on 215 gallons...7.16mpg actual. I'm okay with that.

BTW: Swifty L/Os...watch fuel prices carefully. Looking at our fuel route, I would have paid 15cpg more if I'd followed it. I went to Huck's and go it for $3.959 instead. You can fuel anywhere that accepts Comdata. Just FYI.
