I was informed today that USA is going regional on July 15. Came from FM . Has anyone else heared this?
Didn't hear that. Careful what you buy into. Rumor mill here is vicious. I'm going to ask my fm on monday, via email. He's a straight shooter. Your question coming because of the new qc stuff we're doing? I'll post what I find out.
I know they are trying a different spiderweb setup, not sure if that has anything to do with the different region/divisions they are trying out...
Nope, don't really care either... I'll deal with it when it comes my way, until then the people that are regional can keep their regions lol. But if a good dedicated run comes my way...
My old FM along with the new one told me they are working towards it. Not everyone will be put on it at once, because every area may not have enough business for them to get you started yet. They told me that there goal is to have everyone regional within a year. Maybe so or maybe not, but I would prefer it. I sit every single weekend, and I would prefer to sit at home instead of a truck stop.
Anybody else get a message if you want to go regional or not? I'm debating on trying it out or not... Especially when I won't be NE, but I'd be Midwest.
Just got off the phone with my FM...He ask me what I preferred. I said I'd want more details on it, but since I sit every weekend, I'd try the regional deal out to be home every weekend. He also just told me our home time policy was changing.
as a newbie coming in would i get a chance to get on the regional right out of training ,i start school the 11th in fort wayne,my wife would be happy if that were the case, i live in central Indiana ,how is the freight in this area...thanks
