LIGHTS!!! man, they were like every quarter mile.. good news what that since it was so early i didn't get caught by many of them.. i really didn't get hung up until the last five miles.. traffic started to back up, lights were turning red, and I was in the right lane and was doing my best not to rubb the curb with the trailer.. 51 sucks! I agree, to narrow, to many lights, screwed up intersections, and I drive that in my car daily and I hate it

and then i found out you can't get on I376 eb from Pa51 nb..
For future reference, take the left hand exit; 376 west/Airport; stay left; follow signs for banksville rd/uniontown; stay left and it it will put you back onto 376 east; jump all the way over(good luck) into the left lane so when you exit the tunnel, you can get over to the left lane on the bridge and follow to 279, then 28(I know, Pittsburgh is screwy) or just take the Liberty tunnel and follow to 579 and then 28, much easier from 51 north
no biggie, just kept on rolling and used the "west end bridge".. jumped on Pa28 nb? (i wasn't too sure which way the road was going, just know i was going the right direction) and hit construction which made the right hand turn onto the 40th street bridge kinda awkward, but not hard.. and then while waiting to make the turn onto Butler say the cutest little thing waiting to cross the street.. she appeared to be of middle eastern descent AND SMILED AT ME! i think it was her way of telling me to not run her over..
Construction to be 2014.....wait PENNDOT project; 2114 40th street bridge has always been a left exit
made it to rec an hour early like planned.. and it only took em ten mins to get the 8 pcs off the trailer.. leaving out i found out i couldn't make a left off of the 40th street bridgeNo left turn onto 28 between 6am and 9am. and had to make a right instead in all of that construction, and the construction women were waving me to go and i'm trying not to hit any of their cones, signs, steam roller with the trailer.. made it through that and had to run Pa28 all the way to the TurnPike so i can take it back west cause i didn't know where to turn around at but i knew i could go that route and was ahead of schedule so no worries..

i'm not sure which way is which on Pa28 but if it was a ProStar and a small black dude driving then it most likely was me.

Then it wasnt you. To early, I was still a little ways north at that time in the morning. If you come to Pittsburgh or area again, let me know, I give tell you some tricks on how to get around this place

Mitchtazz... what an adventure you had man!.. That's why I use a GPS... it helps me to know in advance which lane to be in and how far I am from next exit or turn... but Pitsburgh sucks... Now I am in an extended stay hotel, cooking my healthy food in a real kitchen. Truck is in the terminal. Was moved to another truck... This will be the 13th truck I'll be driving in this company. The last one was a ProStar International.... which was a piece of garbage... in 2 months had 5 things fixed and brought it to terminal with some other problems...

Sounds great! I got screwed by Food Lion .... again. I have never delivered there without excessive delays. I have always been early. They will put you at a door and then go 3-4 hours past your appointment and try to fight you for detention. Tonight they went one step further and damaged 6 cases with their forks and claimed, "Vendor Damage". MY ARSE! The coup de gras...they ran me past my 14. Had to get a safe haven get out of jail free pass to get to parking. Can't stay on Food Lion property of course. I will never shop there!
