Ask A May Trainer

I've got my year in at Swift, and while I love my job, not my employer so much. A friend asked me if I had looked into May.

Does it make sense to switch to another entry-level company?
Does May actually communicate? Things like load changes, t-call cancellations?
How are their truck maintenance/shops?
Do you have to fight to get your detention or other non-mileage pay?

 

Do all trainees stay in the truck while the trainer is on home time

my trainer went on hometime while I was in training, I was put in a hotel. why would they keep you in a truck when you aren't working?

 

Hey Blue quick question should I do the 90 and 90? I'm choosing to do 48 states. My orientation date is Oct 2 providing I pass my test on the 26th.
