The down side is, if you stare too long, you lose sight of every thing else that goes on around you.

Has dispatch ever called you and asked you to take a # 900 load off the yard.
You've already been dispatched , are about to go hook up and boom ! , the phone rings .
They need your help finishing a drop for some other fellow.

    Anyone ?

How did it work out for you ?

Did they pay you or was it just sort of a write off ?

Did some one mention Apple ? :biggrin_2554:

Apple stuff rocks , it's a dimension unto itself .

I dumped my Samsung S5 for an Apple 5S last home trip.
girl ordered it special , and I came back the next day to pick it up.

    Happiness , happiness !

Maybe a MacBook someday , but I can't really justify that kind of expense when
the 5S ( running the A7 chip )could power a small city as it currently stands.
The Mini retina in my arsenal has the A7 also if I'm not mistaken.
I don't really use that kind of power, but it may be needed in the future
    as the matrix expands.

Hey now! Surely not ALL Swifties are that bad? But, there are some <INSERT STARTER COMPANY HERE> drivers that could use that sort of support. ;-)

I commence to Googling and find the enlightenment,

Web MD says to me ...

" Stop worrying , you'll never outrun your insecure self ".

The S5 was a big let down...the Note 3 is more powerful than my best laptop...the other day I was streaming Netflix thru my phone to my blueray, surfing for phone repeaters for my house on my tablet (I'm putting a metal roof on the house and that screws up cell reception bad)...then my wife calls (all of this done thru my phone w/my free wifi tether app...that bypasses the hotspot charges) and it never missed a beat...on Verizon, you can't multitask with any iPhone before the i6. I can also split screen it so I have my contacts on 1 half talking to dispatch, and my google maps on the other finding the distances to some of the places they're offering before I accept. Or, I have my S-note app running, taking down the info for a broker, then all I have to do to call is circle the number, click and dial and never have to change to a different screen. It will take Apple until the iPhone 15 before they get that option.

Beware of the iOS 8.0 upgrade...reports are that there are issues with it causing battery drain and I think wifi issues, if I remember the news story correctly. A patch is being developed.

I was thinking more along the lines of them tele-training...you'll notice if you zoom in on the pic that he's on a tablet...now Swift trainers never have to leave their house...training drivers by remote web cam...if the trainee makes a mistake, the truck takes over and corrects for him.

and the patch was released, and quickly pulled, due to another major problem.
It disabled cell service and turned off Touch ID, the fingerprint sensor on the home button.

Actually the disabled cell service problem is in the 8.0.... upgraded my tablet, and it looses cell service all the time... have to reboot to get it to connect, next time it goes to sleep, no cell service... I have not upgraded my phone.

I just read that on Yahoo, and came back to edit...I guess Android OS upgrades aren't the only OS that has issues. They say that the person in charge of the bug testing department was so p.o.'d that when she went to her office and slammed the door behind her so hard, it broke the handle and they had to break the door down with a baseball bat...I guess Anger Management must not be covered by the ihealth iInsurance...Welcome to our world iSheep...:biggrin_2553:

I got the Iphone5 and downloaded the ios8 update, no battery issues, just a few app issues, that the app people will get fixed.

But it was almost a whole gig of updates and it really strains my 12 gigs a month, if any of you have an unlimited data plan, remember, YOU SUCK
