I have,nt had the priviledge of having a camera in my truck yet however I know its coming while I,m not crazy abt the camera facing the driver I understand the reasoning behind it and I really don,t think it would bother me it won,t change my driving habits I try to drive like I would if there was a camera anyways

I hate going to the Mead place in Chicago. The shipper itself isn't so bad, but every way to get there or leave is absolutely full of suck. The first time I picked up there, I was delayed at an intersection because a guy on a John Deere tractor decided he was gonna mosey through traffic... and there was nary a patch of grass to be found.

This maybe a dumb question. I'm acquiring my CDL permit in the state of PA. The state will require me to do the road skills test. I'm signed on with Millis, they're just waiting for me to get my permit. Will I still have to do road skills test or I do that at Millis?

I am from Pa, and just passed my CDL. You will NOT need to take a road test to receive your permit. Once you pass your permit, and go to training with Millis, and since you are from Pa, I would assume you are going to go to Trenton, Ohio. Your instructor will be Bill, and he is, in my opinion, one of the best instructors. When you go with a trainer, and you schedule your CDL test, you will want to schedule it at Long's Motor Bus Company. The cost will be $175, but they are very good. They are located right out of State College. Good luck on everything. If you have any other questions, let me know, I'll do my best to answer them.

Bill is awesome...it has been almost four years since I was there for training with him and still think about his excellent approach to instructing new drivers. If there is a trucking hall of fame Bill belongs there.
