If you check under the bunk, there is probably a spare oil filter. We have some trucks that clog the filter around 10k miles. When I repowered a load a while back, I spoke to the Cummins tech that was working on the Poly truck with the same issue. He said that the ISX engine has 2 different engine models, and they have slightly different cams...when they get mixed up and put the wrong cam in, it is slightly out of time and the result is excessive sooting which plugs the filter. He said they either re-time(shim) the cam, or replace the cam with the correct one....makes me glad I have a Maxxfarce....:biggrin_25524:....wait.....did I really say that??? Holy Crap...I am losing it...:biggrin_25513:

I have one of those loaners now. It was only 5 into the pm when I took it out. I just restart it or if I am rolling push in clutch for a few secs. Then let it out. Starts right back up. LOL

If you get to a point where it wants to shut down on a hill because of it...find a gear where you don't use full boost on the turbo. My last Come-a-long powered Prostar would lose enough oil pressure when you were close to the PM miles...but I would back off the throttle and drop boost pressure and the oil pressure would actually come up a bit...not sure of the plumbing routing for oil, but maybe it goes thru the turbo before it get to the sensor...not sure if that's how it works, just a guess.

GP is running way behind again...7 hrs late and they just started loading my trailer....it's gonna' screw up the entire week for me...we need to shut down or postpone all deliveries for 1 day so the plant can get caught back up. Every week it's the same problem.

I usually have good luck getting out of thrre on the weekend, but I also usually have a 1 stop load. This time I have a 3 stop. Finally got done 8 hours AFTER my scheduled ready time. Still made my 1st stop o.k. and will make the rest on time, but have to do some night driving to get myself back in sync.

Yep, took a 5 stopper as well finishing up in Menominee on Tuesday and it was delayed about 6 hours. Had a record unload time at Target today. Only 6 pallets but that has taken up to 4 hours on some occasions. These cats had it unloaded, checked, and trailer pulled out of the door before I could finish up making and eating a PB&J sandwich:)
