They will give you all the miles you can handle and they don't hold your hand and whisper encouraging words in your ear....
I really miss this thread had some good conversations on here. I still love driving and I have learned a lot over the short time I have been out here.
Getting away from o/o and looking at flatbed again. I just think the shippers and receivers are the worst part of temp controlled freight.
Not had any personal problems with them just the hurry up and wait aspects of the job. Starting from scratch again (with more in savings now).
I will be looking at Mercer transportation out of Louisville,KY but still looking for another truck and maybe trailer or just lease their trailer.
How's everyone doing at ol' Freymiller?
I will probably start a thread on my adventures with Mercer, if I get the chance to do so.
    Be good and be safe.

And so this thread lives on. I was just looking a Freymiller last week as an option for employment... Then I remembered how frady burned me really bad the last time I tried to go back. That Pete 579 on their website looked really nice though!

I heard you can pick a 379 or whatever Heartland has on their lot if you go lease or maybe with some money down. Float turned em down because he's tired of Reefer Madness!!! :)

Frady isn't here anymore. I have no idea why he's gone. For me things have been kinda slow. A lot of waiting, that has messed up chances for another load for the week. I'm tired of this crappy truck. I was supposed to get a brand new truck in June. I don't know if that's still supposed to happen.
    A lot of waiting.

Frady was about a two faced sob. I have no use for people like him.

Considering freymiller. Have a few questions tho. What is the starting pay for recent grad with no previous experience? Where will orientation be held? If traveling, food and lodging provided? What type of drug testing do they do, Ua or hair? If they do hair, I'll need to wait about another month or so before going to orientation. I'll need to allow my hair time to grow out, my body hair as well as on my head. I'm a shaver lol! Well my girlfriend doesn't like hair so, I turned into a shaver smh.

I've read through some of the post and saw drivers were getting plenty of miles and that's exactly what I need, just needs to be at a reasonable rate. Thanks you guys for the help!
