Seems like one of two things will happen. Either the forklift is to small or it will run out of gas.

Someone asked why I would probably not load elevators again. This is a pain to tarp. Way to much open space to fall into.

Oh ok. How long did it take to transfer everything at L'vill . And is there anything that I could do to speed it up? I'll be doing the same in just a few weeks. Thanks

You may be right about that, but again its 2hat i said. The folks who made that decision,Tolease a truck at 3 grand a month, lease a trailer, have daily deduction. For tags and equipment, there at 5 grand a month before they turn a wheel. But who made that decision, that's right the guy in the mirror. We all end upwhere we are by the decisions we make all thru life, and the guy in the mirror makes the decision But no one wants to hear that[/QUOTE]

Yeah. I was making a little joke about the mirror thing. But, seriously, I never had any interest in leasing a truck. I did the math on that based on an advertisement about 20 years ago before I bought a truck. Leasing is a very expensive way to go. When I did my calculation, I figured out I could own a truck for about $20k more than the cost of leasing it for 3 or 4 years.
It seems that people are paying about $36k a year or so just to use the truck. A person could pay that amount and own a used truck and drive it as long as they want to.
One thing it took me a while to figure out is trucks will last a long time, especially if you maintain them.
If I meet a driver that wants to own a truck these days,
I advise to seriously consider an older truck, especially one that doesn't have any of the emmisions equipment. That older truck could easily be more dependable than a brand new truck. And if the old truck breaks down it shouldn't be complicated to figure out what's wrong with it.
