Well, there's like 1000 threads on here about Prime. Grab a snack and read.

Well, I am just finishing the TnT section of training about to upgrade.

Pass you cdl permit tests and get your permit 1st. Saves you a lot of time.

When they say be at class at 7, be there at 6:50.

Do not skip the training simulator EVER. If you can't pass all the tests by Friday and the trainers see you have missed even 1, you get to pack your bags. Saw it happen.

The training program is hectic, but well organized. You will have 1 week to get a lot of things done, and you will be VERY busy that week, even if you have already passed you permit tests prior. The trainers also make it very clear that this isn't a college training school. You will not be cottled. But if you get through all that, well I see many times less threads here about how much prime is evil as opposed to say knight or sni. Haven't worked for those companies so I guess I'm a little better off.

Edit: that relates to week 1. Then you either get more Sim time waiting for a trainer to take you out, or you get picked up by a trainer. 2 weeksish later, you come in, practice for a few days for your test, and you get 3 whacks at the test for your real cdl.

Ps. Oh yeah, after week 1 you get 0 intrest $200 loan a week for food. Pass the test and get to TnT and you get a 600 buck paycheck a week. The loan is payed off $25 a week.

Prime works well for many new drivers.

But not everyone likes their way of doing things.

And the 1 year commitment, that can be a real deal killer.

Well over half of new drivers at prime never see the 1 year mark.

Don't even consider them unless you are 100% committed.

    Continue to do your research.

    Good Luck.

Concise and well restrained - I resemble the girl on the Exorcist whenever they're mentioned.

A Prime driver with his cowboy hat at the coffee counter was bragging about getting a speeding ticket; he showed us the ticket and it was issued in a 15 mph school zone.

You don't see many of them driving at night either. About the best thing they have going for them seems to be newer trucks and trailers.
