. It cost .75 mpg. It jumped right back up after I changed the oil. I couldn't believe oil had that much effect on fuel performance.
Yeah, that's the most Mercer will take out of your check. He has only grossed $25 or $29k this year so far and has a Prostar from Quality, so he hasnt realized it, but Mercer has only withheld like $12k, so he still owes them like $7k. Anyway, I think I got him on the right track.
Don't you have to get fuel advances on your card in order to use the card and get Mercers discounts? Or are you talking some other advances, like a cash advance?
Ahh I understand now. I didn't know 40% was the max. Now I have to ask how in the world someone that has been working all year can only have made 29k so far? Ive made more then that and have only worked a few weeks.
I load my card up with $5k every couple of months from my reserve acct. So I don't have to pay $1.75 or whatever it is for fuel advances.
Well that's where the issues came in that I was trying to help him with. I didn't understand it either. I mean, I've had probably a month or so total that I have been off from either the shop, when I sat out in California, home time, etc and it blew my mind when he said that. He also said he has only taken 5 weeks off since he started last August/September whenever it was.
He must let his coordinator run his truck? Hopefully you gave him some good tips. I did a lot of that when I was in Louisville. Some of the things I heard and saw while I was there just blew my mind. It's no wonder why some people fail here.
